Children's bikes range from 20" wheels to 26" wheels, smaller children or those with limited riding we recommend a Trailer Bike, Child Seat or Trailer. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an Adult (18+) on a bike at all times; we cannot rent to an unaccompanied child.
A trailer can carry two children up to 40kg, child seats one child up to 23kg. Minimum age for children is 12 months; sorry we cannot rent to younger children. A Trailer Bike, trailer or child seat can only be fitted to our cycles for safety reasons.
Premium bikes are full suspension models set up for you including height, weight, style of riding and we can supply SPD pedals if desired. Pre booking a minimum of 24hrs ahead is essential we cannot accommodate Premium rentals on the day.
Premium Electric bikes are full suspension models with electric assist set up for you including height, weight, style of riding and we can supply SPD pedals if desired. Pre booking a minimum of 24hrs is essential we cannot accommodate Premium Electric rentals on the day. Please be aware in peak times these are popular so booking further ahead is strongly recommended.

Terms and Conditions of Rental
A Photographic valid Driving Licence or Passport is the only form of deposit we will accept. No I.D, no bike.
We do not give refunds for punctures, repair kits are available to carry whilst renting.
Bookings can be cancelled up to 24hrs in advance for a refund, under 24hrs re-arrangement for another day only (once).

I understand that mountain biking is physically demanding, with substantial and technically demanding obstacles. I accept that there is a risk of death or injury when undertaking such activities.
I agree that I will take part in the activities as instructed in this document and in accordance with the oral safety briefing provided by BikeArt staff.
I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own safety and will at all times ensure that I ride within my own skills and ability. I will wear a cycle safety helmet at all times, together with suitable clothing and footwear.
In the event of accident or loss or damage of personal effects, I acknowledge that BikeArt will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss, damage or injury arising from or in connection with the activities undertaken (excepting death or personal injury caused directly by BikeArt's negligence) and I waive any and all claims against BikeArt in this respect.
I certify that I do not have any medical condition likely to increase the possibility of accident or injury (to myself or others) during the activity.
I undertake not to modify the bicycles supplied to myself or my party in any way, save for adjustment of seat position, and that making any modification would absolve Bike Art and its employees from any liability for accident or injury caused.
I understand that I will be held responsible for loss or damage to all bicycles and other equipment hired from BikeArt by myself and that I will pay appropriate repair or replacement costs in the event of any such loss or damage.
I, as parent or guardian of any members of my party under 18 years of age, accept that I am responsible for the safety of the children in my care and that he/she/they undertake the activities in accordance with all of the above.
In addition, I undertake to supervise, by at all times accompanying while riding a bicycle, any member of my party under 16 years of age and to remain contactable by and responsible for those members of my party aged 16 or 17 who may ride unaccompanied.
Please list all members of your party including the hirer. Please ask each adult to initial in acknowledgement all of the above.
